One of the questions I am asked most frequently when photographing a family portrait or engagement shoot is “What should we wear?” There are several things to take into consideration: Uniformity. A similar colour palette amongst everyone in the shoot always works well. That doesn’t necessarily mean ‘matchy matchy’ but if you pick one or two shades all wear something in that hue, it creates some togetherness. Neutral colours with limited or no writing on the clothing is ideal. Get Comfy! And no, this does not mean to don your trakky daks! If you feel comfortable, it will be portrayed in the photos. My shoots tend to be active so something you can run around in works best…

It’s an honour and a privilege for me to be a part of your family for a day in capturing this special time in your lives. As a Mum of two amazing kids and wife to my incredibly supportive husband, David, I understand family!

I conduct my sessions in an unobtrusive and relaxed way, ensuring nothing is missed. My style is candid and fun, with a healthy dose of romance thrown in for good measure. Every family, event and wedding is unique, everyone has their own story to tell, that’s where I come in, I’m here to tell YOUR story.

BORN AND BRED IN MELBOURNE, I'VE ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED WITH IMAGERY.

I SPEAK SOFTLY AND LAUGH LOUDLY.

Hey there, I'm Tamara.
