Myles and Jessica chose a simple Registry Office wedding in which to tie the knot. The biggest possible compliment as a photographer is when family refer my services to another loved one. So I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to capture Myles and Jessica’s beautiful day after photographing Myles brother’s wedding about 18 months earlier.
Myles and Jessica chose a simple yet beautiful Registry Office wedding at the Old Treasury Building in Melbourne. With Jess originating from the UK, guests travelled from all over the world to partake in their special day. Like all registry office weddings, the ceremony was short and sweet, which then gave us ample time to explore the city afterwards. We wandered through the nearby Treasury Gardens and then onto Parliament Steps.
The happy couple shunned fancy cars or even Ubers, preferring the humble train instead to get between venues. This gave us another unique and fun perspective for their photos. We then joined the rest of the group at the Loop Roof, a vibrant and funky roof top bar in the city. Guests could relax into the day with a beverage or two before heading across to their final destination – One of Nine in Richmond. One of Nine provided a modern, industrial feel where the night ended with some speeches, first dance and festivities that carried into the night!

Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
