The Little Vineyard, located in Chirnside Park on the edge of the Yarra Valley is a quaint and rustic choice for couples seeking a relaxed wedding experience. It caters for small to medium sized weddings with the ceremonies usually taking place under the large wooden arbour. The venue is owned and operated by Going Gourmet which provides guests with a plentiful and delicious catering experience.
Mixing Eastern and Western cultures, Shenn and Supanee’s wedding day focussed on what they held most dear to them – family and their rabbits! The family gathered early in the morning, many of whom had travelled from overseas. Here they enjoyed some traditional Chinese elements such as dumpling eating and prayer. Gifts and money were exchanged and the couple saw each other for the first time here.
A morning tea ceremony was undertaken before other guests arrived. The outside deck looked incredible thanks to the luxe array of florals supplied by Anglels Floral Event The couples’ three adorable dwarf rabbits brought the rings down the aisle in a custom designed cart complete with fan to keep them cool! Choosing a morning ceremony and lunch time wedding, we were able to head out again into the beautiful surrounds before their first dance. Guests enjoyed lawn games before finishing up in the late afternoon.
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
