Big Fella Cherries, “The Shed” is a rustic farm located in Coldstream. It offers relaxed, DIY weddings and is an affordable option for those seeking a laid back experience. Of course, complete with shed and views to the rolling hills and an orchard, there are many picturesque photo opportunities!
Meeting at an 18th birthday party, Jordy and Sarah instantly hit it off. A couple of dates later, they both realised they could just be themselves in front of the other and it wasn’t long before they fell head over heels. Jordy was impressed by Sarah’s authenticity while Sarah was impressed by Jordy’s quirky and funny personality and the fact he was a real gentleman.
Melbourne Celebrant Julie was the couple’s obvious choice for celebrant as Julie was Jordy’s teacher back in high school. They had also seen a few weddings that Julie officiated. As always, Julie delivered a funny and meaningful ceremony. The couple chose to undertake a first look and some photos around the venue. It was arctic like conditions and regular breaks were needed when the hail blew in! We were able to catch the last blast of the sunset in the orchard before the fun of the reception kicked off. DJ Samantha Rose ensured the night ran smoothly as MC and everyone was able to hit the D-floor! Jordy and Sarah performed an epic first dance before Sarah and her Dad performed a fun routine. Their beloved fur baby Aggie also played a huge role on the day. Such a fun day with these two gorgeous humans!
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
