The St Andrew’s Conservatory is a contemporary and light filled venue located opposite the Carlton Gardens. The bamboo lanterns which hang from the roof give a romantic feel to the space. Hosting both sit down and cocktail style weddings, St Andrew’s Conservatory is a gorgeous space for those seeking an inner city location.
Phil and Alex’s romance was a little bit of a slow burn with neither particularly enjoying small talk. They side skipped the meaningless stuff and got straight into deep conversations and quickly knew their values and desires aligned.
They were accompanied by Alex’s best friend from school, Maggie and Phil’s best friend, Rob making the most awesome foursome and non stop laughs. The day started at the Pan Pacific in South Wharf for some getting ready shots. Wanting to maximise the time with their guests, we also travelled to the Fitzroy Gardens for some pre-wedding photos. Being early on a Sunday morning, we had the gardens just about to ourselves!
Phil and Alex wanted a wedding that was laid back and relaxed, where their guests could really just chill into the afternoon. A morning ceremony and afternoon filled with good food and conversion provided just that. Capturing moments of joy and laughter, we were able to create beautiful memories that the couple will cherish for years to come.
Overall, the day was filled with love and happiness, highlighting the importance of family and togetherness in a modern, urban setting. It was a pleasure to be a part of such a special occasion.
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
