Leigh and Aimee chose one of my most photographed venues in which to hold their wedding – the classic and beautiful Marybrooke Manor. With it’s stately charm and nestled privately in the Dandenong Ranges, Marybrooke includes a little bit of everything. Rain on the day was not an issue as the ceremony was brought inside to the chapel.
They were very patient, postponing their special day for 6 months and therefore allowing family to travel interstate. Family were definitely not going to want to miss this day as they chose to disclose their very special news to their family that they were expecting TWINS!! They surprised everyone with postcards containing the good news. Scroll through to check out some of the priceless reactions! It was an incredible privilege to be privy to this news before their closest family and friends.
Leigh and Aimee opted for a more formal look for their wedding day with Leigh in a tux and Aimee in a gorgeous off the shoulder floor length gown and matching cathedral veil. Flame red was the theme of the day with Aimee’s girls dressed in floor length red dresses and the cake with other decorations with red accents.
Capturing Leigh and Aimee’s special day was like working with old friends, it was awesome getting to know them on an engagement shoot initially, then working with them to find a new date for their wedding and of course, hearing of their special news! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Harrison!

Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
