Witchount Estate, within close proximity to Melbourne Airport is a highly sought after venue for couples seeking a beautifully rustic venue in Melbourne’s west. It has a multitude of locations for the ceremony which will suit everyone’s taste. The rolling vines and cobblestone chapel provide a gorgeous backdrop for photos and the Barrel Room the perfect space to party the night away.
Recently, I had the honor of capturing a truly special wedding celebration. The day began with a traditional church ceremony, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones. It was a beautiful and symbolic start to their forever journey together. Liam and Tash opted to exchange vows at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Ascot Vale which represented Tash’s Catholic faith.
After the ceremony, we headed out into the city for some portrait sessions. The couple wanted to capture the essence of their love in an urban setting, and we had a blast exploring different locations and backgrounds. We travelled to the iconic Parliament steps and made just before peak hour. Next stop was the Victoria Barracks with its ivy adorned walls.
As the afternoon turned into evening, we made our way to Witchmount Estate for the rustic reception. The venue was absolutely breathtaking, nestled amidst picturesque vineyards and rolling hills. It provided the perfect backdrop for a night full of celebration, laughter, and heartfelt moments. Guests enjoyed canapés with the upbeat tunes of Brendan and Starbrina keeping everyone entertained
Throughout the day, what struck me the most was how family-oriented this wedding was. The couple’s families played an integral role in every aspect, adding a beautiful touch of tradition and closeness. From the heartfelt speeches to the parent’s dance, it was clear that family meant the world to this couple.
But it wasn’t just elegance and tradition that filled the air. The entire celebration was infused with a sense of fun and relaxation. The couple had made a conscious choice to enjoy every moment of their special day, and their infectious laughter and beaming smiles were evident to all. It was impossible not to get caught up in the joyous atmosphere.
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
