Located in the heart of Brighton, Brighton Baths is a perfect venue choice for the small to medium sized wedding. Located waterfront, It has interrupted views across to the ocean thanks to its floor to ceiling windows. Guests can enjoy the incredible sunset whilst mingling with guests and dancing the night away! Couples can also choose to have their ceremony at The Baths on the outdoor deck overlooking the beach below. The private jetty also ensures some pretty special photo opportunities.
When I first met Blake and Laura at an expo, we immediately clicked. I loved their cool as cucumber and eternally positive attitudes. They couldn’t understand incredulous looks they got from other suppliers when they said they planned to have their wedding in 3 months time – on the date they met.
Thanks so Covid, that date never eventuated and finally, 2.5 years and 3 dates later, they got their special day. Much happened during that time for Blake and Laura including the arrival of second son Axel who was a much loved addition to their wedding day. Sadly, Laura’s dear Mum also lost her battle with cancer so they chose to have their ceremony at home to feel closer to her.
The laid back pair that they are, they chose to get ready together at home with their sons and closest friends by their side. We then travelled to Black Rock for some family pics amongst the stunning red rocks before travelling to Brighton’s iconic Billilla Mansion for family photos and photos with the wedding party. Keeping it simple, the bridesmaids and groomsmen, including one bridesdude could wear whatever they wanted.
We then headed to the Brighton Baths for the reception where guests enjoyed delectable canapés on the deck before dancing the night away with a 7 piece band from the awesome Kellie Anne Music booked through The Melbourne Entertainment Company. Such an incredible day and night with this beautiful pair!
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
