Prior to the dreaded C word entering our world, a wedding day spread across several months and divided into parts were practically unheard of. Now they’re the norm. Like many couples, Marco and Olivia were an organised pair and had starting planning their wedding day more than a year in advance. The date was set, 13th February 2021. Unfortunately, Covid had other plans and a spike in cases meant a snap lockdown beginning the day before across the weekend, throwing their wedding plans into chaos. But eternally positive and quick thinkers, Marco and Olivia didn’t let a little thing like a snap lockdown ruin their plans of getting married. They brought everything forward to the Friday night before and within hours the announcement, this gorgeous pair were married on a balmy night on the 12th February at the cafe in which Olivia manages, The Waterside Cafe in Craigieburn. Many guests came straight from work, some still dressed in high vis but it was their presence was the only thing that mattered! Liking to keep suppliers within their inner sanctum where possible, they chose close friend Daryl Gray Celebrant to officiate the wedding and friend Louis as videographer. Their beloved pooch, Melo acted as ring bearer and we caught the last breath of light for some gorgeous couple photos. Guests were then treated to speeches and pizza before we all rushed home before midnight struck and the lockdown 3.0 began!
Fast forward 3 months, and Marco and Olivia celebrated their reception at the magical Gonna Warra Vineyard in Sunbury. We had the perfect Autumnal day and focussed on wedding party images amongst the gorgeous vines and some more couple portraits, making the most of that stunning sunset before the party began inside the beautiful bluestone building. So very grateful this incredible couple found me and I was able to be a part of their days!!
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
