Both lovers of the high country, The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort was the obvious choice for Sam and Hayden to tie the knot. High school sweethearts, Hayden and Sam have spent more of their lives knowing each other than not. Having much in common, growing up in the same area, attending the same school and having a lot of mutual friends, their love was more of a slow burn than a fast race. Both being outdoorsy and adventurous types with a love for the alpine region, the softly spoken, yet romantic Hayden chose Mt Buller in which to propose. It was therefore fitting they return to the scene of the proposal for their wedding day, opting for the rustic setting of the Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort in Merrijig, which overlooks the mountain tops of Mt Buller in which to tie the knot. Storms brewed for much of the day and thankfully, Hayden and Sam decided on a first look and photos before the ceremony which were done just in the knick of time before the heavens opened. But not before some epic sky shots with the clouds rolling in! Celebrate with Deb conducted a short and sweet ceremony – just the way Hayden and Sam wanted it.
Not fans of the spotlight, this lovely pair opted to omit much of the formalities and kept it to the bare minimum. Incredible, heartfelt speeches and their own personal song performed by their best friend were highlights. Many guests made a weekend of the trip to Merrijig and the festivities continued on into the next day. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Branson!
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
