You’d be hard pressed to find a warmer, more generous couple than Jez and Diza. Their commitment to their families, friends, faith and culture and of course each other was a joy to watch.
They chose the secluded Serenity Point at the end of the picturesque Dandenong Ranges National Park for their nuptials, with stunning views across to Mt Buffalo and beyond. The pair and their guests played homage to Diza’s Indonesian heritage by wearing traditional hand made Javanese costume. Many of the guests travelled from interstate and overseas to be a part of this magical day. The ceremony was a beautiful blend of Muslim and Western traditions.
We were able to explore these stunning gardens before heading to Lyrebird Falls for more photos opportunities. The venue, a favourite in the Dandenong Ranges is nestled deep in the forest to give it a oasis like feel. It was here where the party really began, but not before an outfit change into Western clothing! Mother and daughter team really delighted guests with two Indonesian dance routines, dressed incredibly in butterfly and bird inspired costumes.
It was wonderful to work alongside Ray from @raysweddings yet again to capture this beautiful day. A little snippet from the day 😍
If you like what you see so far and think we'd be a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!
Photography is a celebration of love, life, laughter and family. It is capturing the joy, the tears, the raw emotions and the connections with our loved ones. I love to photograph people and places, photography is not just my job, it’s my passion.
